Am Wochenende wollte ich einen neuen Schreibtisch von IKEA kaufen. Als StadtradelnStar darf ich ihn nicht mit dem Auto abholen. Aber mit einem günstigen Fahrradanhänger wird der Transport schwerer Gegenstände zum Kinderspiel. Die Infrastruktur im Gewerbegebiet Kaiserslautern ist zwar menschenfeindlich, aber es gibt einen geheimen Hinterweg durch den Wald bei Vogelwoog. Auf dem Rückweg kann man sogar am See einen Kaffeepause machen.

Over the weekend I wanted to buy a new desk from IKEA. As City Cycling Star, I'm not allowed to collect it by car. Piece of cake - with a cheap bike trailer, carrying bulky items is really easy. But what's the best way to get there? Infrastructure in Kaiserslautern industrial estate is generally people-unfriendly, but there is a secret scenic back route through the woods by Vogelwoog. On the way back, you can even have a coffee break by the lake.
