Heute wurde die Lautrer Maikerwe eröffnet - inklusive Riesenrad und Feuerwerk. Natürlich sind wir mit dem Fahrrad dorthin gefahren. Während der Kerwe ist die Anfahrt mit dem Auto einfach zu stressig, aber mit dem Rad direkt über die Bismarckstraße (parallel zur Fahrradstraße) zum Messeplatz zu rollen, ist super entspannt, mit Parkplatz (dank eines günstigen platzierten Baumes) direkt am Eingang.

Today saw the opening of Kerwe (Kaiserslautern's big funfair) complete with ferris wheel and fireworks. How did we arrive? By bike, of course! Driving a car during the carnival is pretty stressful, but cruising along Bismarckstraße (parallel with the new Fahrradstraße) to the fairground is super easy and relaxing, and we parked right at the entrance against a strategically positioned tree.
